The history of our house

The Manoir du Loubier , a building listed as a historic monument, was probably built during the 16th century.

The building underwent extensive renovation between 1814 and 1826 (creation of the corridors, replacement of the staircase, creation of the chimneys). Anecdote of history, the chief of staff Louis-Joseph DE VERDILHAC , an emblematic personality, had his horse Pie buried and a stele erected at the bottom of the land at the end of the work.

Seduced by the charm and history of this estate, owned by the Verdilhac family from the beginning of the 18th century until 2021, Victorine, Arthur and their two children set themselves the challenge of renovating this heritage and making it known to all those who were curious.

We are pleased to now be able to welcome you to the heart of this project currently being renovated.
